Join The Network

Imagine being connected with dog owners who are already looking for the kind of training you believe in.

At The Ethical Dog Trainers Network, we make it easier for owners to find independent, ethical dog trainers, behaviourists and other canine professionals — meaning less time competing with outdated approaches, and more time working with the right clients for you.

Our goal is simple: to help ethical professionals be seen, trusted and chosen.

We welcome independent dog trainers, behaviourists and other canine professionals who are committed to kind, ethical, welfare-led practice and who genuinely put the welfare of the dog first.

Our network is built on trust, compassion and professionalism. We welcome members who are dedicated to continual learning, open to evolving their knowledge, and who strive to support both dogs and their owners with empathy and understanding.

Whether you have an established business or are building your experience, what matters most is your commitment to modern, humane approaches and your passion for helping dogs live happier, more confident lives.

We created this network to make it easier for dog owners to find professionals they can trust — and to support independent, ethical members in being seen, valued and connected with the right clients.

More Than A Listing

Being part of EDTN is about more than simply having a listing on the website.

Monthly Zoom sessions

We hold regular online sessions for members, including guest speakers and discussions around dog training, behaviour, welfare and the realities of working in the industry.

A supportive member community

Dog training can sometimes feel quite isolating, especially when you’re working alone or running your own business. Our members-only WhatsApp community and Facebook group give members somewhere to ask questions, share experiences, celebrate wins, discuss challenges and feel part of a wider network of like-minded professionals.

Social media support

From time to time, we also share informative written social media posts that members are welcome to share, adapt or use as inspiration for their own content. This isn’t a fixed monthly resource, but when we create something useful, we’re happy for members to make use of it too.

More visibility with dog owners

Alongside the community side of EDTN, our aim is to help ethical members be seen by more dog owners who are actively looking for kind, welfare-led support.

Our goal is to create a network that genuinely supports ethical members — through visibility, community, shared learning and practical help where we can.

If this sounds like you, we’d love to welcome you to the network.
