I’m the person behind Maple Tree Dog Training, based in Newent, Gloucestershire.
My journey into canine behaviour started with Odie. Living with a dog who experiences the world very differently opened my eyes to just how much there is behind behaviour. He taught me to look beyond what a dog is doing and ask why they might be doing it.
Then came Rocco, who helped shape my love for training. Working with him reminded me just how much fun training can be, and how rewarding it is when you focus on building a relationship rather than chasing perfection.
That’s at the heart of Maple Tree Dog Training. I want to help you understand your dog, build better communication and develop practical skills that actually work in everyday life.
Whether you have a puppy, an adolescent dog or an adult who needs a little extra support, my aim is to make training feel achievable, enjoyable and relevant to real life.
