I have always had a passion for animal care and originally wanted to help with the rehoming of dogs. However, I began to wonder: what if I could help prevent some dogs from needing to be rehomed in the first place?
That question led me to university, where I studied Animal Behaviour and Welfare, before taking my studies further into Clinical Animal Behaviour. I have also gained many years of practical experience working with dogs of different breeds, as well as other animal species, through my work as a dog walker and pet sitter.
My approach is centred around understanding the individual dog. Every dog is different, and every dog deserves to be understood. I use only reward-based training methods and aim to support both dogs and their owners in building a better relationship together.
Through Walk-Ci’s, I offer owner support, 1-2-1 training sessions, puppy training, behavioural consultations for more complex behavioural needs, and respite sessions to give owners a break when needed. I also provide dog walking and pet sitting, tailoring my care to suit each dog’s individual needs.
My aim is to help dogs feel understood, support owners through challenges, and promote positive, ethical approaches to animal care that can help dogs and their families thrive together.
